Which is your favourite style of dance?

Ballet

Which is your favourite Ballet Fusion class to teach?

ABC, I always feel so happy, so much stronger and more powerful after the class.

Do you have a favourite ballet?

So many! Can I have more than one?

For traditional ballets, I love Romeo & Juliet and La fille mal gardée, it’s such a happy ballet. I adore the Nutcracker’s Arabian Dance. And Matthew Bourne’s ballets always blow my mind. I think his best are Edward Scissorhands (the dancing and score are equally beautiful) and his Nutcracker - I loved it so much it made me cry!

What other exercise do you do?

I do weight training as part of my rehabilitation from pelvic girdle damage during pregnancy. I also walk between 10,000 and 20,000 steps a day. I try new things whenever I get a chance. I recently tried a heels class. I went for the intermediate level because I thought, ‘I’m a dancer, I’ll be fine’. It was soooo fast and so technical. I nearly died 😂

What’s a skill you would like to learn?

I’d secretly like to study workplace psychology. Oh and I’d like to learn Salsa.

Tell us something people might not know about you?

I was a magician’s assistant for a short time when I was younger. I loved every minute of it.

What’s your favourite movie?

Coming to America and Overboard. Can you tell I’m a child of the 80s?

Whats’ your favourite food?

Chocolate and mexican. Not in that order.

Where would your dream holiday be?

I’d love to drive the Pacific Coast Highway in California.

What is your spirit animal?

According to the internet, it’s a Bear but obviously my dogs, Baxter and Bertie are my true spirit animals 💛

What should we watch?

I just finished Ted Lasso, which I loved.
