Ballet Band - Resistance Band Training for Ultimate Toning
In this class we use a resistance band to strengthen, tone and shape the body. Throughout class we work on deep muscle exercises, improved turnout, hip, core, leg, arm and back strength. Working all the major muscle groups, this class will rapidly shape and tone the body as well as increase strength to aid turnout, posture and improved ballet fitness technique.
This class is perfect for you if:
You want a quick full body workout to really tone and shape the muscles.
Your instructor will provide options to make some exercises easier or harder.

Equipment
A resistance band. One long band or one looped band.
A chair or something you can use as a barre (not all classes will use a barre)
A mat / rug / comfy flooring for floor work and stretching.

You will need (for online classes):
A chair or something you can use as a barre (tabletop, counter top etc).
Enough space to lift your leg in front, to the side and behind you. (Move those vases!)
A yoga mat / towel / comfy flooring for mat work and stretching.
A computer or phone you can link to the class through set up in a place you can see clearly.
The tech bit:
We use Zoom for our live classes. When you book your class, you will receive a booking confirmation with the Zoom live-stream link as well as class time and date.
We’ll also email you a reminder of the live-stream link 1 hr before class.
